David Littlefield

David Littlefield is a designer, artist and writer. He has written, co-written, edited or made major contributions to more than a dozen books on the subjects of architecture and cities, has exhibited at the Royal West of England Academy and the Arnolfini, Bristol, and created site-specific interventions in the UK, Germany and Switzerland. David co-organised the international conference ‘Transgression’ in 2013 and curated the major exhibition ‘Unseen Hands: 100 years of structural engineering’ at London’s V&A in 2008.

He is a member of the Architectural Humanities Research Association, Mapping Spectral Traces, Interior Educators and the pan-European Perception Network. David is a Senior Lecturer at the University of the West of England, Bristol, and has lectured internationally. He is a co-founder of Estranged Space.
